Watercolours, Oils, Acrylics, Pen and Ink… Zentangle!

I believe everyone is an artist and getting in touch with the creative is essential to nurture one’s spirit.  I am also is a firm believer in play based learning… For me, art has to be fun, enjoyable, and contribute to one’s sense of wellbeing.  This has led me to an exploration of  form and colour, working with oils, watercolour, acrylic, carving, sculpture, stained glass, mixed media, bookbinding, and Zentangle © . I love to share classes that invite and unlock creativity, using simple approaches that set one up for success, while adding tools and techniques to any repertoire. I invite you to join me!

As a CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher), I enjoys teaching the Zentangle drawing method as a way to destress while creating lovely art using structured patterns.  I often find Zentangle opens the door for people who have been hesitant to  produce their own artistic expressions, yet it also provides the health benefits of a meditative practice. A lifelong learner, I have both studied and taught art… to all ages, in many disciplines, for over 40 years. I have taught from my home studios, created many workshops for artists and art teachers across Canada and the U.S, as well as teaching in school classrooms, and at ProD School District events.

My goal is to walk beside you in an art journey that enhances your life, inspires, excites, and brings you the deep joy of creating something unique and lovely.

“The quality of the fabric is so soft and natural. You can tell how unique each piece is and that makes every item she sells even more special.”
